2.   Say NO to All the Distractions

Some objects will simply slow you down by diverting your attention away from the task at hand. Mobile phones, entertainment publications, and a variety of other items fall under this category. You can’t expect to work quickly if you continually divert yourself with objects that aren’t assisting you with the task at hand. When you have your phone in your hand while doing serious work, you could be tempted to check your emails, look at some social media updates, or respond to a friend’s message. All of this will cause you to slow down.

3.   Manage Your Energy

When compared to time management, energy management forces you to consider results as a function of energy rather than time invested. Working hard for a few hours can accomplish more than working for days, exhausted and distracted.
